Pages d'entrée

Some sites are designed with multiple entrance pages. Web-Stat shows you what percentage of your total traffic enters through each one of these entrance pages for the current month. Previous months data is available from the archive bar above the report.

The information shown also includes the bounce rate for the page in question, which is the percentage of visitors who go to that page then leave your site without proceeding any further. Obviously the lower the bounce rate the better the page is at capturing visitors interest

Pages in the left-most column can be recorded by Web-Stat, then listed in different ways :

  • using their URL (www.yoursite.com/page1.html)
  • using the page title as it appears in the header (widget presentation)
  • using a name that you specify yourself (widget_page1)
For more details on this please see these instructions on how to name pages

Note that if your entrance pages are shown by URLs and if your URLs contain query strings (a question mark followed by a string of characters) we will by default remove the query string and group similar URLs together for the sake of clarity. If necessary you can force the report to show all the query strings by clicking on the 'show query strings' link.
